President Andrew Jackson Does Big Stick Combat
On January 30th, 1835, a deranged man attempted to assassinate President Andrew Jackson outside the capitol. At close range the madman drew two pistols and pulled the triggers.

Both pistols misfired.

President Jackson then beat the would-be assassin with his cane, nearly killing him.
